Recruitment preparations are underway for the next school year. In order for Henrico County Public Schools to effectively determine staffing needs, it is important to obtain information regarding your intent for continued employment for the 2026-2027 school year. Accordingly, please complete this brief survey no later than Monday, February 2, 2026.  

 

Please note:

 

  • All full-time employees, except as indicated below, should complete the survey via the link provided in this email. 

     

  • School Nutrition, Transportation, and Maintenance/Custodial staff will be surveyed via a separate process as directed by their supervisors. 

     

  • Part-time employees and Annual Resident Educators do not need to complete the electronic survey.

     

  • Employees who intend to retire and wish to participate in the PREP program must submit their interest in writing no later than February 2, 2026.

     

  • Resignations will be accepted from Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) licensed personnel until June 15, 2026. Resignations due to accepting a lateral position with a neighboring school division will not be accepted after June 1, 2026, unless approved by the Department of Human Resources (HR). 

     

  • If you decide to separate from Henrico County Public Schools after you complete the survey, please promptly contact your direct supervisor and appropriate HR Specialist.
